Table Seating Capacity

When purchasing your commercial banquet tables from GROUP R, it's important to understand how many people can comfortably be seated around the various tables that we offer.

Below is a guide to understanding the number of guests which can be seated at our tables:

  • 30" Round Tables Seat 2-3 People
  • 36" Round Tables Seat 4 People
  • 42" Round Tables Seat 5 People
  • 48" Round Tables Seat 6 People
  • 54" Round Tables Seat 7-8 People
  • 60" Round Tables Seat 8 People
  • 72" Round Tables Seat 10 People

  • 18 x 72 Seminar Tables Seat 3 (1 Sided)
  • 18 x 96 Seminar Tables Seat 4 (1 Sided)
  • 30 x 48 inch Rectangles Seat 4 People
  • 30 x 72 inch Rectangles Seat 6 People
  • 30 x 96 inch Rectangles Seat 8 People (Cap the ends to make 10)

Below is a guide to estimating seating capacity by square foot
 
Banquet Style seating
  • If using rectangular banquet tables - devide room area (square feet) by 8. For example, if you are using a 400 square foot room, you would devide 400 by 8 which equals 50. That means your seating capacity would be 50 people.
  • If using round tables - devide the room area (square feet) by 10. For example, if you are utilizing a 400 square foot room, you would devide 400 by 10 which equals 40. That means your seating capacity would be 40 people.
The figures above are meant for MAXIMUM seating. If you want a more "open" feeling, allow an additional 2 to 5 square feet per person. 
 
 

Seating Capacity Per Round Tables

48" diameter seats 6

60" diameter seats 8 comfortably, 10 max

72" diameter seats 10 comfortably, 12 max
